What was meant to make Douglas really happy is now a posthume tribute. Early this year I proposed the name "Arthurdent" for an asteroid which I discovered in 1998. Unfortunately, I was informed that my proposal was accepted just a few hours before I heard of Douglas Adams's death. I can't describe how sad I was about this unhappy coincidence.
But it's funny to imagine Douglas taking a sunbath on his towel on his dedicated asteroid...
