Subject: Time Travel IS Possible ( 1 of 9 ) Posted by Guybrush Threepwood the Nothingth Time, the annoying thing that always seems to run out just when you're having fun, cannot be reversed in any sense. HOWEVER, according to quantum physics (and a copy of Michael Crichton's TIMELINE), you can travel to a parallel universe which is basically the same as ours, except at a different time. It involves using a quantum processor to copy every single element of yourself, then sending the copy of you through the ripple thingy and then destroying the original copy of you. This is actually what the Atlantians did a LONG time ago, yet accidentally sent all of Atlantis through the ripple. Ofcourse, this is all hypothetical, but so were toasters, and now look where we are. Speaking of toasters, Mr. Adams forgot to mention the major role of toasters in the destruction of the universe. The universe is not ROUND, yet is FLAT. The entire universe is one big piece of toast that accidentally was kept in the darn thing too long. Damn, I said too much. Err.. I gotta go.. (oh and in the case that someone already mentioned this theory in the previous "Time Travel" thread, I would like to offer my apologies for being too lazy to actually read all the replies) Next>
