I quite agree about the dates. Fine for this year, but definitely birthday or deathday for subsequent years.
Probably the latter, since it is clearly the /less/ appropriate.

Note that England have a football friendly against Mexico (at Derby!) on the evening of the 25th, and there
might be a distracting degree of interest in this among post-work pub-goers. Soho has many fine pubs
with no telly.

By the way, I went to the Paris studio for a recording once, and thought I was in or around Marylebone High
Street. Can someone remind me of where on earth I was, since this is nowhere near the Captain's Cabin?
