There's a modern jazz ensemble named Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. When I first listened to "Flight of the Cosmic Hippo," I thought to myself, "Wow, if JotS hadn't been there to fill Doug's need for 'spacey music with a banjo in it,' he would have had to search a lot longer before he found this." Consider yourself notified in case you need more spacey music with a banjo in it.
