Subject: Goodbye..and thanks for the laughs! ( 1 of 1 ) Posted by Anila I was very sorry today when I heard the news... You were the one who introduced me to the wonderful world of wierd things...and towels. I just recently bought my own copy of THHGTTG, having borrowed my father's many times, and I had hoped to at least meet you some time... But I guess that'd be a bit hard now.. Thanks to you, my sense of humor has been altered for the better, and many boring school-nights have been made a bit more interesting when I remembered, amongst other things, the little Babelfish.. I loved (and still love) all the detail in your books, as well as in Starship Titanic, even though I never could keep up with all the different stories. Goodbye, you master of wierdness... |
