I really enjoyed the Dr Who movie made a couple of years ago. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, given that it was set in America. I thought Paul McGannn was a triffic Doctor and I loved all the little references to the series that were sprinkled throughout. But I simply couldn't come to terms with the idea of the Doctor having a romance. He was always so utterly sexless in the series. It was just wrong, wrong, WRONG. As that remark shows so beautifully, he was just too distracted to focus on anyone/thing as an object of desire. <Prev
