Whether or not a product is successful has nothing to do with how well it works. It's all down to who's lucky enough to solicit the best publicist. Advertisements sway people so much more than actual technological competence that I'm surprised there isn't a billion-selling Coke computer. (The caffeine chip? Ugh..sorry, it's late...)
