We in the UK used to pride ourselves on making "the least worst television in the world", but that was long ago. We still make some outstanding things - mostly by David Attenborough - but the days in which we would take pride in the overall quality of our output are gone. The best programs I've seen in recent years are Frasier, Murder One, and the sublime Larry Sanders Show. We have nothing to compare to that bunch. <Prev Next>
