Subject: Re: Vote Ralph Nader ( 88 of 98 )

Okay, I just watched on the news that Ralph Nader held a
press conference where he suggested (sounding quite sincere)
that the presidential election should be decided by a
televised worldwide media event that would involve someone
calling it in the air.
I was one of those who wanted their cake and the chance to eat it, too.
I voted for Gore, (Bush scares the bejezes out of me) but wanted Nader to get his 5%.
I wasn't that confident in Nader's abilities, and wouldn't trust him as president,
but I was hoping a third party would gain enough popularity as to become a real alternative
to Moron #1, and Moron #2. I thought Nader would be the man to make that happen.
My faith in Nader seems misplaced now, though.
I can't believe that someone who has fought so hard within the rules of the system,
in order to change the system the way it's meant to be changed,
would make such a mockery of our democratic system by suggesting we pick a
leader with the flip of a coin.
Mr. Nader, EVERYONE is frustrated right now, but we can't give up at the first sign of trouble.
When something goes wrong, we fix it. It's what we've done for the past 225 years,
and it's what we'll continue to do as long as people are willing to put in the effort.
